This movement has touched lives across continents, from the bustling streets of Lagos to the serene landscapes of Abuja, Manchester, London, Ibadan, Brussels, Ghana, Abeokuta, New York, Aldershot, and Glasgow.
Pastor ImisiOluwa Owolabi, a dynamic leader and co-pastor of Hope Nation Church in Nigeria, founded WhenFriendsPray in 2007 and envisioned it as more than just an event. It’s a space where there is an unrestricted flow of God’s power, the word prevails, divinely orchestrated moments occur, friendships are forged in God’s presence, prayer is powerful, joy unspeakable is a reality, testimonies abound, worship transcends differences and Jesus is glorified. Over the past 17 years, WhenFriendsPray’s leadership has evolved into a dynamic team consisting of both volunteers and professionals worldwide.
