WhenFriendsPray: An Atmosphere of God’s Presence, Power, Unity, Healing, and Divine Encounters.

In a world where individual pursuits often take center stage, there exists a place where hearts unite in prayer, worship, and the pursuit of God’s presence. This place isn’t bound by geography, nationality, or even time—it’s a spiritual gathering called WhenFriendsPray. This movement has touched lives across continents, from the bustling streets of Lagos to the serene landscapes of Abuja, Manchester, London, Ibadan, Brussels, Ghana, Abeokuta, New York, Aldershot, and Glasgow.

Pastor ImisiOluwa Owolabi, a dynamic leader and co-pastor of Hope Nation Church in Nigeria, founded WhenFriendsPray in 2007 and envisioned it as more than just an event. It’s a space where there is an unrestricted flow of God’s power, the word prevails, divinely orchestrated moments occur, friendships are forged in God’s presence, prayer is powerful, joy unspeakable is a reality, testimonies abound, worship transcends differences and Jesus is glorified. Over the past 17 years, WhenFriendsPray’s leadership has evolved into a dynamic team consisting of both volunteers and professionals worldwide.

We’ve had countless, mind-blowing testimonies. These testimonies are just glimpses of the transformative power of corporate prayer and the power of God.

Our Culture

Love

Love covers a multitude of sins and in the when friends pray community, we model love as portrayed to us in 1 corinthians 1v13

Revival

This burns at the core of our being. For us we believe that revival starts in an individual before it is manifested outwardly and then begins to affect the world at large. We wait in earnest expectation for the time when revival would be a norm and we, part of the anchors of the move.

Impartation

We do not take lightly impartation. We believe that tremendous change can happen in a person’s life just by impartation. It is the transference of grace or anointing from one to another. We see this in the story of Paul and timothy.

Miracles

At all of our meetings, we expect to see miracles because we are assured of the mighty presence of God in our midst. We believe that the concept of Miracle is not foreign and should not be treated as a foreign concept but one to be embraced and coveted. Everywhere Jesus went He performed a miracle so it’s safe to say that miracle is one of the evidence of the presence of Jesus.

Service

Service is one of the foundations on which the ministry is built. We believe very strongly in service. Offering your skill, time, expertise etc for the kingdom and the propagation of the gospel. Jesus modelled it for us so well when he said that ‘Anyone who wants to be the first must be the very last and the servant of all’- Mark 9v35

Prophetic Activation

We absolutely believe in the prophetic. We believe that God speaks through each and every believer. We teach and encourage believers to hear God for themselves and develop the confidence to say what God is saying accurately and without fear.

Community

We believe in healthy communities. One of the greatest blessings the ministry enjoys is the gift of men. Thus we encourage the fostering of healthy relationships and enable the platform to cultivate them.

Testimony

This is literally how we fight our battles. Testimonies!! Just recalling and casting our minds back to what God has done and who He has been jolts our faith because if He did it before He will do it again. We also believe in testifying in advance. Saying what you want to see manifested in your life and rejoicing over them. The bible says we overcame by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony.

Teaching

The word works! This is our greatest testimony. We believe in the ever potent word of God. The word of God is enough sure. We have done a lot just by believing a word from God. Thus we teach and encourage our members to believe solely in the work of God because the word works! Hebrews 4 v12.

Meet The Founder

ImisiOluwa Owolabi is a seasoned international Speaker, Minister, Prophet to the Nations and an extraordinary woman of many parts.

She is currently the President of Hope365 ministries a platform that daily propagates the gospel of hope and houses a portfolio of other ministry expressions. Notable expressions of Hope365 are: the every evolving WhenFriendsPray events which has held over 200 meetings in the past 14years with tremendous exponential growth in both number and territories covered.

She is also the CEO of the Imisioluwa International Ministries (IOI), an expression which incubates the renowned evangelical platform – Intercession and Revival Academy (IARA) with a mission to raise 100,000,000 intercessors for Christ through evangelism, teaching, equipping and prophetic guidance under her leadership. The Hopeline Call -Centre is also a noteworthy expression under the IOI umbrella which was established to provide succour, counsel, ignite hope and encourage people in distress through prayer and counselling sessions.
